0.1% for Kids
Now that you know a little bit more about how aid money is spent, you can see that children are not really getting the focus that they need. While all areas of aid spending are important, what could be more important than our children? If governments really believe that children are our future, then they need to show their commitment to children in developing countries.
If each DAC country gave just 0.1% of their GDP, just one-thousandth of the money they make every year, it would mean $25 million to ensure that the world's children have healthy and productive lives. How can we do less?
